Getting Started
So you want to get started right away on making your very own duel-able lightsaber. Slow down! Take some time to read. You will find a wealth of information out there. Even what I have posted here is just a small percentage to help get you started.

Character Specific Lightsaber Hilts

Be sure to check out all the links for the character's saber you're interested in. Sometimes there is a conflict of information between sites, and sometimes a detail missed in one description will be covered in another. An excellent resource to use no matter what movie replica you're looking at is Sitharchives

Luke/Anakin Skywalker
There are three different versions of this saber hilt, one from ANH, ESB, and ROTS. While very similar, there are some slight differences between these hilts.
Luke's hilt from ROTJ is completely different, and is much more similar to Obi-wan's, but I have included it here because it is on many of the same pages. Remember that there are two versions of Luke's ROTJ saber.

Lightsabers

Lightsabers have fascinated people ever since the first Star Wars was released. For years, kids of all ages have dreamed about what they would do with a real lightsaber, played the Jedi Knight, and made and bought all kinds of replicas.
Today, there are many choices of replicas, ranging from five dollars to five hundred. There are officially licensed replicas, people that have their own online companies to sell there own custom versions, and countless fans who make their own. One can often find on ebay people claiming to sell an ebook with instructions for such fan-made props - usually it is a list of links to helpful websites. My purpose for this blog is to keep an updated list of links for the lightsaber enthusiast.
